Welcome
The New Hampshire Council on Autism Spectrum Disorders was created by the NH Legislature in 2008 to provide coordinated leadership in addressing the healthcare, education, and service needs of individuals who experience autism or a related disability.  The Council's composition and charge are described in HB 1634.

The Council is guided by the findings, recommendations, and principles that were published in May 2008 by a previously established Commission. To read the NH Commission on Autism Spectrum Disorders, Findings and Recommendations, click here

Although still a work-in-progress, this on-line resource is available and seeks your input

Many of the volunteers who participate in Council Work Groups stumble upon important information about autism spectrum disorders and the services and supports in NH.  We find ourselves -- some of the most involved parents in the State -- saying, "Wow, how come I never knew that?"

Clearly we needed a place to put all this important information.  Although a "home made" website, we have hopes of someday raising the funds to take the layout to a more professional level.  In the meantime, please feel free to explore the information for families through the "Virtual Resource Center" link above.

If there is autism-related information or resources that you would like us to share, please contact the Council's Administrative Director:  Kirsten.Murphy23@gmail.com.
